Hello,
This is a space dedicated to helping caregivers cope and heal. It is a community devoted to lifting each other up and a safe place to develop and practice emotional and mental wellness.
I’m Gina, and for the last 10 years I have been the only child of an Alzheimer’s patient. I am here to help build a community that can help each other navigate the challenges of caregiving from the inside out.
My Dad is, was and will always be my best friend. His disease is powerless against that.
If you’re a caregiver, carrying the emotional, physical and mental day-to-day challenges, this space is designed for you.
This space is not limited to those caring for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients. If you are the mom of a child with special needs, this space is for you too! If you are the sibling, spouse, friend, nurse even a paraprofessional, come join us, there is room here for everyone.
I spent many years in public education working as a paraprofessional. It taught me more than any text book ever has.
The Topics I cover are:
- Caregiving Mindfulness
- Balancing it all
- Caregiver Guilt
- Time Management
- Stress & Anxiety
- Family Relationships
My caring friend, I’m so very glad you’re here.
Warmest Energies,
Gina
